In the midst of the creative process of packaging and labels for Extra Virgin Olive Oil Monte do Carrascal, we visited the World Olive Oil Exhibition, to initiate relations with “The Champions League” of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil market.
International producers, packers, specialty magazines, all the main players in this market are there, and it is there that the objective of one day being present, with an excellent quality product and representing our Alentejo Coast, was set.
The olive oil tasting at the Olive Oil Bar it is a very interesting experience, as we have the best olive oils in the world at our disposal, to taste, smell and see the difference between them. It’s a true explosion of flavors and where we realize how different they can be, from the most complex to the simplest.
In the Tasting Room is another area of the exhibition where organoleptic tests are carried out, with the help of a presenter, who guides us on this journey of tasting extra virgin olive oil.
As we are eternal apprentices, it was in the Conference Room that we spenta good part of the time, listening to excellent speakers. From doctors to chefs, from producers to researchers, we hear a little bit of everything.
